A Sea of Color
All of the photos I've found of Darfurian refugees show the women wearing gorgeous brightly-colored robes that fly in the wind like sails. It almost makes the camps look like happy places.
Sometimes when I'm working on a print I like to listen to music from the topic or region I'm focusing on. I found a collection of Women's Dance Songs from the Sudan on the Smithsonian web site. You can hear samples here.
