Back Online

HangaRoomUnpacking

Today the cable man came and spent two hours with me. We got the internet connection going after about 1 hour, but couldn't get the cable TV up. Oh well, I'm so so happy to have my own internet again after 4 weeks of stealing other people's wireless signals. Now I have my own wireless in my own home. It came none too soon, as I have to get back to work on Monday.

This is my new moku hanga studio. My new house has so many rooms that I get to use this space for moku hanga only; my illustration/computer office is in a separate room. I'll be able to make some nice big prints in here.

It's nice to be back online. Thanks everyone for visiting my blog while I was a nomad. :)

A studio with windows! My old studio had them, but my present one doesn't.

Have fun unpacking and organizing.

It's good to have you back!

I moved in July. I could not believe how long it took to get my home and studio back in to a livable order. I went almost a month with out printing or painting. It was horrible.

I am glad to hear you two are getting settled.

Thanks for the welcome back! I'm putting things in order slowly (also working my day job!) but, as Kathe noted, it takes a lot of time to get a studio up and running again after a move. Magprint, I do love the windows but all those trees keep it fairly dim anyhow. Considering the fact that I often do my print work at night, I'm looking into lighting options...

I'm so jealous of that lovely looking paper drawer/cabinet in your print room!
