Variations

Well, the inks don't act just like cmyk (of course) but it was a fun experiment. Here are some variations:

Melting#2CM
Red and Blue

Melting#2CY
Yellow and Blue

Melting#2CMY
All three colors

Melting#2OneDrop
Left: 4 drops blue; Right: 3 drops

I love the third image with all 3 colours - it's like checking CMYK printed proofs with a linen glass.

The leader of the print workshop I did in August, Mark Hudson, uses CMYK commercial inks for all his woodcut prints - and gets amazing colour effects. And everyone seems to mix their own unique colour range.

Must get down to some serious printmaking.
